What is the D.R.E.S.S for Health® protocol?
The main pillars of health include five things that need to be integrated together; Diet, Rest, Exercise, and Stress Reduction. Supplements are an added support to help our bodies during the healing process get to the next level and maintain the necessary cellular functions our bodies need living in a less than perfect world.

DIET
We’re not talking about calorie counting or a point system. We’re not even talking about any “diet” in particular. When you receive your D.R.E.S.S for Health® protocol, you’re receiving suggestions on what, how, and when to eat based on a number of lab-guided factors such as metabolic type (physiological, psychological, and dietary related traits you’ve received genetically) and food sensitivities. Our unique metabolisms need certain nutritional requirements at a cellular level to stimulate, strengthen, and support us for optimal healing, energy, and well-being.

REST
We are the only species that deprive ourselves of sleep. You already know getting quality sleep is important, but for many of us, it’s a challenge and far easier said than done. Resting your mind and body and getting quality sleep is crucial for the body’s recovery and healing process. Together, we'll figure out why you have trouble with sleep and give you strategies to help you get a good night's sleep.

EXERCISE
Moving your body is important for healing, but is your exercising causing more harm than good? I can help you come up with specific ways to exercise, but it’s the labs that we run which will help us figure out how much of an impact exercise has on your health and which type of exercise will benefit you the best without causing additional stress.

STRESS REDUCTION
Every day you experience some form of stress; deadlines at work, bills to pay, juggling schedules, errands, or family crises. Through the interviewing process, we’ll look at mental, emotional, environmental, and physical stressors that can affect our overall physical health. Through lab testing, we can identify internal stressors and how each body system is responding to stress. This can be anything from blood sugar issues, gut pathogens, hormonal issues, liver congestion, leaky gut, food sensitivities. All of this can take a toll on and stress the body. Specifically, we look at how stress is impacting the hormones, immune system, detoxification ability, digestion capability, energy production, nervous system, and causing oxidative stress. This determines our best plan of action to reverse the damage stress has caused.

Finding the right supplement is a challenge. There are a million supplements for hormone balancing, a million more for gut health, not to mention the quality of supplements. As part of your protocol, I will help you figure out which supplements would be beneficial based on your lab testing and give you access to the highest-quality practitioner-grade supplements through my secure online dispensary at a discounted rate. I’ll tailor these based on your individual case, budget, and preference. While I firmly believe in the power of natural supplements, I also understand that supplementation is only 25% of the healing approach.
